  • Melissa graduated with degrees in Psychology and Social Work from Franklin College and Indiana University. Her area of study was in mental health and addictions. 

    Her career has been dedicated to helping others improve their lives while working in the private sector and the Criminal Justice field where she has worked with people struggling to overcome difficult life situations. 

  • Her approach is reality based, strengths focused, and is committed to helping others find peace. Through empowerment, she strives to help others discover their inner strength, realize their self worth, and see their value as human beings. 

    She is genuine, and believes that it is normal for people to experience difficult times in their lives, but views these times as opportunities for people to grow. 

  • Melissa provides substance abuse assessments and evaluations. She has a special interest in substance use issues, codependency, relationship problems, sexual orientation, and sexual maladaptive behaviors.

    Melissa uses Couples Development Model, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, and Integrated Therapy and works with adults.
